Beegnette - Creating Habitats for Wild Bees
In cooperation with the "Phänomena" State Exhibition in 2026, we are creating our largest Beegnetten wild bee habitat to date on an area of 5,200 m². This area offers wild bees and other pollinators a variety of different habitats, including Fromental meadows, ruderal areas, herb borders, and fallow land, all specially adapted to the needs of wild bees.

2. Concept and Networking
The former agricultural land is being transformed into a habitat for wild bees. As part of Phänomena 2026, it will become part of the exhibition and will showcase various types of meadows and biodiversity concepts. Connectivity is provided by two extensive meadows (Q1) and a nearby wildflower fallow. The area is supplemented by two BeeHome Premiums, as well as deadwood and sand structures as nesting sites. It primarily consists of a species-rich mesic grassland with fallow areas, a tall herb community at the edge of the forest, and a planned ruderal area (2025/26).
