Your BeeHome needs to be in a dry and sunny location. You can attach it to a house wall or place it on a solid surface. A city balcony is just as suitable as a garden.

Your BeeHome includes a voucher for a starter population with cocoons of the red mason bee. You can order your mason bees via our wild bee portal MyBeeHome from March to the end of May.

Wild bees depend on pollen and nectar from native plants. Make sure that food is available for your protégés within a radius of 200-300 meters.

The BeeHome offers fascinating insights into the world of wild bees. The flight period for the red mason bee is between March and June, depending on the weather conditions.

You can send us the inner box of your BeeHome between September and October so that we can professionally care for and overwinter your mason bees.

If you have sent in the inner tray of your BeeHome for wild bee care, we will professionally overwinter the mason bees. In nature, mason bees overwinter in their cocoons outdoors. Be sure to leave your BeeHome outside.
